Tips for a Smooth Benefits Enrollment Process

What you need to know now

If you’ve been thinking of enrolling your company in DART’s ePass program for the first time, here’s what you need to know.

Why Enroll

People who ride public transportation to work have much better attendance records and less stress from their commute. Plus, your company and your riders can save money, reduce parking, and possibly get IRS tax benefits.

 

What are the steps?

The process is easy!

  1. Recruit Riders.

    DART can provide a downloadable toolkit with recruitment posters, email template and other tools to help you recruit riders. If you prefer, one of our team members can present a lunch and learn at your location. If you have employees that are interested but reluctant because they haven’t ridden DART, schedule a travel orientation for your team through DART’s Travel Ambassador Program

  2. Gather enrollment information.

    Use our excel spreadsheet template to collect some basic information from all enrollees. Then snap a headshot or use an existing picture and upload it all to our ePass portal.

  3. You’ll have a chance to verify the information on pending passes and create a new contract using our portal. Sign and upload the contract by November 4.

  4. Make payment with a corporate check or credit card information by November 18.

  5. Enjoy Thanksgiving—your part is almost done. All you have to do at this point is await your passes to be delivered by December 12.

  6. Distribute passes to riders or give them their GoPass login and start enjoying the benefits on January 1, 2017.
